The following text, published some years ago in my Newsletter,  is my own common sense version, written in plain understandable terms.  It’s presented below for reasons of compliance, for your reference, and for posterity.

Society has become overly litigious. The following is for our mutual protection and does not suggest that offers made, or what is written, have been done without a sense of responsibility toward anyone who might accept the offers or read the material.

When I first posted this disclaimer I was worried that readers might consider it a bit “over the top”. I know I did, but I posted it because I thought it needed to be said. These days such disclaimers are commonplace but back then few websites had one.

Introduction and Acknowlegments

The following is now provided as a legal requirement in an attempt to protect you and also protect KenWoolcock.com.

Even before the legal requirement it was included on my original website to assure readers we have your best interests at heart. It’s not written in an attempt to wriggle out of anything in future or avoid responsibility.

It basically says: “If you behave responsibly and honestly, with integrity, treating others with consideration and respect, working your business with the best interests of your customers in mind rather than yourself, you will have nothing to fear.”

That principle was taught to me by my parents and allowed me to build a successful Podiatry practice in less than half the normal timescale for new business.

I am an ordinary person from a simple upbringing. My skills were either God-given or acquired by determination, a vision of the future I wanted and putting in the necessary time and effort to do the learning required for the business I chose to do on the ‘Net.

KenWoolcock.com is provided in an attempt to support other ordinary people in achieving their goals and ambitions online. These resources are therefore willingly and gladly provided to all who gain access in the hope that they share those ideals listed above and conduct themselves and their business with honesty and integrity.

Liability Disclaimer

Due diligence must be given to any product or business, business opportunities in particular, before you invest any time or money in it or them. No income claims, either expressed or implied, should be taken as automatic or expected.

To summarize, in as few words as are really necessary:-

Phew… I always wanted to write some legalese. I guess that was it! Sorry, but necessary. At last it’s all been written in a decent font size that can be read without strain.

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
