My Inspiration

We must all have a goal, or a series of goals, to drive us forward and keep us going. The goal has to be a worthy goal in order for us to overcome the challenges along the way to success.

The gorgeous lady pictured here, to the left, will be my reward, but she is not the goal in herself. No, there’s much more to it than that.

The goal is a worthy goal and, as is often the case with a worthy goal, the challenges have been many, just as they have been great.

And what will be the prize to be gained from the challenge?

Time alone will tell, but it’s my firm intent that others will gain from our success than only Myrna and myself.

For now though, it’s sufficient to share our hopes with others who might see this and have a dream for their own new life in a loving relationship.

Our story is being written and I feel the book will be released before very much longer. We remain confident that what we believe was meant to be was meant to be, and it shall be our end result.  Kismet, or Que sera?

Addition:- 20th April, 2009

The above was published on 9th March; the following was written on 31st March as content for our book, still being written, awaiting conclusion. Consider this a preview extract if you like and, as I say, it’s only part of what I wrote on that day. The remainder of that small portion appears in the main Blog, under Relationship Difficulties and Self Examination.

Myrna has a great deal of responsibility in her job as a teacher, over and above just being a teacher of academic subjects. Part of her brief is also Counsellor to staff and students and, at the end of each semester, Myrn is the one responsible for computing results and grades for her student year.

You might say this is all part of a teacher’s work, and I agree, but all the other teachers furnish Myrna with their individual findings and results, but it’s up to Myrn to stitch it all together.

It’s a fact of life that some people take pride in their work, have care for their clients, and act responsibly, with a sense of commitment and dedication.
Kids are clients too, whether the education is paid for or state funded. If not the kids as clients, the parents certainly are. But mainly the client is the kid, for without the kids there would be no need for the teachers.

Sad fact is that there are others without the required dedication.

Kids and their parents are anxious for the results of the kids education, but when some teachers fall in the less dedicated category, and are lax in providing the kids’ results to the person collating and computing those results, imagine the frustration for that person being the one whom the kids and parents are waiting on for the results.

Such a point in time will clearly show the regard and esteem held by both kids and parents for certain teachers and individuals. When it comes to the kids being accompanied by teachers and parents to attend a big, important test in the kids academic life they are permitted to choose their chaperone teachers.

Myrna has sacrificed personal time with her own large family to attend such visits away from home with those families because the kids selected her to attend. Such is their regard for this woman, and such is her love and dedication for the kids who fall under her responsibility.

Is there any wonder that I feel for her the way I feel?
