Some brief information about myself, to give you an idea of the man behind this site, where I’m from, and where I’m heading.

Although my online presence began in late summer 2001, I’m not a “guru” or marketing genius. Sure, I’ve gained a lot of experience in that time, but I also made many mistakes.

By revealing those mistakes to you, my writings will save you time and save you money. There’s still much to learn, and that too will come to you through my writing as I learn.

Ken Woolcock is a child of the ’40s, former office manager, Police officer, and professional DJ.. Most recently a retired Podiatrist /Reflexologist and long-time divorcee, residing with his K9 buddy in the UK., now a full-time writer/poet.
By the way… the man’s the poet, not the dog. ~(;-)) Just to clarify things.

As Creator/Editor of The ‘5Ns’ Newsletter and original articles, he provides advice, guidance and support for those who seek viable business to work from home on the Internet.

Some will say that’s enough to tell, but you deserve more than that if you’re interested in the material offered in this site. The remainder is relevant, and (hopefully) not too much.

Soon after my 2001 launch into cyberspace I had a chance “meeting” with a helpful guide, and I soon fell into the home income arena. First involvement was being at the start of my helper and guide’s new venture. Everything was great. We worked hard, and I thoroughly enjoyed helping to build something new in the company of others.

The first 18months or so saw progress, but then I left due to unrest within the business. Disenchantment set in towards the whole “easy money” hype being peddled online and a long period of drifting followed. Too long. But this was to be my new way forward, so there was to be no “giving up”.

As you read on entry, “Giving Up Is Not The Answer… It’s NO Answer At All.”

The aim of this site is also stated on the entry page, and that is simply to offer the benefit of what I’ve learned during, and from, common hiccups in life and business. Simply said, it’s to offer help through the site content if I can.

If you’re anything like me, and I’ll bet you are, you prefer to call a spade a spade and see problems for what they really are. Something to be faced head-on, not allowed to build up, or the effects to fester. “Get ‘em sorted” being the mantra.

Some say referring to a problem as a problem is negative. I say a rose by any other name, etc.. I’m sure you know the rest of that quotation, and that you probably agree. After all, calling a problem for what it is suggests that there’s a solution. So, where’s the negative? It only becomes negative if you don’t see, or don’t try to find, a solution.

“Starting Over” is an appropriate title as it marks the start of a new cycle, the end of a seven year cycle just having ended for me. Now was the time for an enthusiastic start with renewed hope, fresh inspiration, and the same intent, but a clearer vision and greater anticipation.

I hope, as you read through this site, that you find the encouragement I try hard to give.
